The Bernie Mac Show 

Inspired by the real life of Comedian Bernie Mac, The Bernie Mac Show is a daring half-hour comedy about a man with unique views on  parenting.  The series has been hailed by both audiences and critics. The Bernie Mac Show has won the prestigious Peabody Award, an  Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, an NAACP Image  Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, and was honored by the Television  Critics Association for Outstanding Achievement in a Comedy and for  Individual Achievement in a Comedy (Bernie Mac).  In February,  Bernie also won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy  Series.
